Anne Barton
2022 Awardee Anne Barton

Anne Barton is the Ongoing Stamina honoree for 2022.

Anne is a past president, and she graciously took on the job for two terms that helped with healing at a very difficult time for the whole branch.

She has also been scholarship chair, and has worked tirelessly for years to establish our scholarship funds as viable and sustainable entities. Her energy and creative ideas have served to build the Mary Alice Moulton and the Childcare Assistance Fund scholarships into a partnership with the Yavapai College Foundation–really quite a feat! Her humor, passion, and generosity have endeared her to many of her colleagues. How lucky we are to have Ann in our midst!

Now she is chair of the upcoming Women’s Forum in January, a huge undertaking. Anne is also largely responsible for our continuing wonderful relationship with Yavapai College. Like the Energizer Bunny, she keeps going and going and going! AAUW Prescott appreciates all she has done during the past 14 years and will do in the future to better our organization.
